Hey everyone. I've been working on some side projects for D20 modern in my own time (including the D20 Pirates that I've posted about on here before). My brothers friends and I played D20 Pirates for a few months, but I noticed some flaws in trying to fit the classes to the game itself.|
I resolved to adapt the classes to the game, but never really got around to it. I have resolved that now, as I'm trying to put together a D20 Modern Mob game, straight outta the Untouchables and 1930s Chicago. I'm still doing research and putting the game together, but I thought I would let anyone and everyone who wanted a crack at it a chance to look over the adaption I've made to the classes and offer criticism. Well, criticism and helpful insight.
The most major changes I've made are to add more talents- allowing characters to become more specialized in their individual classes, or to take one or two talents from each to become a "jack of all trades."
I also change the hit dice of the classes, so that strong heroes have a d10, tough heroes a d12, the fast and dedicated heroes a d8, and the smart and charismatic characters a lowly d6. Skills are adapted to, so the smart hero gets more skill points.
Anyway, tell me what you think.
